Always being a fan of movies like Friday the 13th, director Daniel Benedict wanted to make a film that "...Captures the fun and simplicity of slasher movies from the 80's."

Actress Sabrina Hulsman recalls, "We had to go to Wal-Mart to get some of the special effects supplies. When we walked up to the register with pig guts, fishing line, and duct tape, the cashier said, 'Looks like you guys are going to have a fun weekend.' We affirmed offering no explanation."

Actor Kent Blue recalls, "I came about being in Bunni by way of my work on the YouTube comedy channel October Road Films. Daniel has seen some of my sketches and contacted me to see if I would be interested in helping out on his film. At first, I thought he just meant production type things, but then I found out he was looking at me for acting. I was worried at first since I had only ever done comedy/improv acting. After a screen test, I thought it would be fun to try something outside my comfort zone. I am glad I did."
